    how early are the parks decorated for Christmas? I would like to be there to see the decorations but not during the week of Christmas. Would like to visit in November.

    Hi Lorrie,

    Christmas decorating starts  Nov 1 and goes into full effect with everything done by Thanksgiving. Decorations are added at night, so each day you will see more and more.
    The decorations are truly breathtaking.  It really puts you into the holiday spirit!!  
    It is not just the parks that are done for the holidays, the resorts are also decorated with incredible decorations.  If you are able to experience Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you should---it is such a fun night!! With special parades, fireworks, snow fall on Main Street, USA, characters dressed in their finest holiday outfits makes for an incredible night.  I was able to go last year and had so much fun!!!
