Welcome to planDisney, Rylee!
Just the thought of a relaxing day exploring the grounds of a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and enjoying the food and drinks at one of the many dining experiences gives me the warm fuzzies. I’m a Central Florida resident, so I often find myself parking at the Resort hotels without staying on property. I am more than happy to share what I know about this experience with you.
Standard parking at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels is free for both Guests and visitors alike, which is super convenient. However, the parking is only guaranteed for overnight Guests and those with an
advance dining reservation. At times, parking for visitors is limited to a few hours. There have been a few times when a parking attendant has given me a 3-hour time limit placard that I displayed in my car’s dashboard during my visit.
With that being said, plan on arriving up to an hour before your advance dining reservation. The Resort hotels on the
Disney Monorail loop (Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort) and at
Disney’s BoardWalk are a lot busier than other areas, so you’re most likely to run into an enforced time limit there.
Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, Rylee. Please
give us a holler if you think of any other questions about your upcoming vacation. Any of the panelists would be happy to lend a Mickey hand.
Magic always,
LeAndra
