Hi How early do I have to be at the park before the opening ?

    Hey Fabio-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. What a fantastic question! Personally, I love to be at the opening show that takes place about 10-20 minutes before the Theme Parks open. In order to get a great spot and be at the head of the crowds I would plan on arriving about 30-45 minutes before the scheduled theme park opening. This may mean you need to leave 45-60 minutes before the park opens depending on whether you are staying on or off property and whether you are driving your own car or taking Disney transportation. Getting to the theme park early will also allow you to get focused on your plan for the day with having to be rushed.

All the Walt Disney World Theme Parks have an opening show. Some are just audio while others involve Disney characters. The Magic Kingdom Park Welcome Show is a must-do and will begin about 20 minutes before park opening.

I hope this helps start your day in the Walt Disney World Theme Parks with a bit of welcome magic.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
