I have early park entry but am staying off site. Which shuttle time should I take to make sure we get there in time to rope drop our 30 extra minutes?

Hi Hannah, thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

If you are staying at an off-site participating hotel, you can certainly take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests.  Early Entry hours can be found on the Hours & Events Calendar.  My suggestion would be to arrive at the theme park entrance 30 minutes or so before Early Entry begins.  Cast Members at the theme parks will typically let guests into the park before the Early Entry time and allow them to walk to a roped-off area for early entry.  When Early Entry begins, the rope is removed (also known as "rope drop) and Guests can begin their magical day in the park.

If your hotel offers early morning shuttles to the theme parks, I would recommend boarding the earliest one possible.  You will need time for the commute and to make your way to the theme park entrance.  If the hotel shuttle doesn't line up with Early Entry, you may want to consider a ride-share service such as Uber or Lyft to get you to the theme parks earlier.

As you wait for your Walt Disney World vacation to arrive, the Disney Parks Blog is a fun way to learn about everything going on in the Disney Parks.  I have been enjoying the stories related to the Christmas holiday as I will be heading down for some Disney magic soon. The story Disney Eats: Foodie Guide to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2023 has me very excited to try some new snacks!

Hannah, I hope you find this information helpful.  Please let us know if there is anything further we may assist you with.  Have a magical vacation!
