Ahoy, Dana! Welcome to planDisney!
Congratulations on being a Platinum Member of the
Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club, Dana! I can only imagine the memories you’ve made over the years during your sailings. A Disney Cruise really is an unmatched experience. And given the number of sailings you’ve completed with
Disney Cruise Line, I suspect that you know exactly what I mean!
To answer your question, Dana, being a Platinum Member comes with several great benefits. These include the ability to select your port arrival time and complete your
online check-in 38 days prior to sailing. If you’re set to sail on September 5, you’ll be able to complete your online check-in as early as July 29. Also, given that Platinum Members are able to add Cruise Activities to their bookings 120 days prior to sailing, I encourage you to have a look at those as well if you haven’t already done so! Plus, you can take advantage of a complimentary dinner at Palo, Palo Steakhouse, or Palo Trattoria. Yes, please! That sounds amazing. You’re in for a real treat, Dana!
Personally, I love boarding the ship as early as possible. It starts our vacation that much sooner! As a Platinum Member, you should be able to secure an early port arrival time, which is a great perk in my opinion! We love heading up to the pool deck and enjoying the pools while they're still quiet. After that, we’ll have a nice lunch before making our way down to explore our Stateroom, just as more Guests start to board the ship. Early boarding is totally worth it!
I hope this answers your question, Dana! If you have any other questions as your sailing approaches, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at
planDisney.
My fellow panelists and I, just like you, love sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line, and we’re always happy to help!
Anchors aweigh!
