Early November our family of 10, all adults, will be in 1 King and 2 double rooms in the French Quarter. My youngest son, 20, has Autism Spectrum Disorder and is unable to sleep if he has to share a bed. Can we get a cot? Can I reserve ahead of time?

    Hi Sylvia,

I'm afraid I don't have the best news for you. My fellow panelist, Brenda, answered a similar question about Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter. Since the guest rooms were renovated and the beds were changed from double-sized beds to queen-sized beds, there is no longer room for rollaway beds. I have friends who have packed an air mattress so siblings didn't have to share a bed. If that isn't a possibility, you might try what Brenda suggests and see if you could move your reservation to Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside. Rooms in the Alligator Bayou section have a small pull-down bed in addition to the two queen-sized beds.

Sending you pixie dust for your situation! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Be sure to let us know if we can help you with any other questions!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
