Hey Julie!
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is such a blast! I hope all members of your group are feeling brave enough to take the plunge on
Summit Plummet! It is my family’s favorite attraction at the water park! My youngest son shocked me with this attraction. After being so nervous to ride that he almost “chickened out”, he came off the ride saying, “Let’s do it again!”
I think your plan to spend the afternoon hours at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park will be perfect. It sounds like you’re a group of early risers who will take on the adventure of Disney’s Animal Kingdom by taking advantage of the early opening time! That is a great time to visit the park. Not everyone is an early riser while on vacation, so the early opening time of
Disney’s Animal Kingdom doesn’t appeal to everyone. It’s a great park for the morning people!
Julie, another option to consider is to visit a different park on the same day you’ll visit Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. The advantage of that would be that you can still hit a park at opening time, then go to the water park for a few hours in the afternoon, and then return to the same theme park you visited in the morning for several hours in the evening. You can always reenter the same park you visited earlier in the day as part of your theme park admission! That’s a little harder to do with Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park because it tends to close earlier than the other three parks.
I hope these are some helpful planning tips! Come on back to planDisney with more questions!
Dreams do come true!
