Dawit:
Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel!
It depends on your definition of "early..."
Many days, Disney designates a park to open "early" for Magic Hours, usually an hour before regular operating hours. This
Extra Magic Hour allows Disney resort guests to get into the park an hour earlier to enjoy the park when there are low crowds. We've taken advantage of this many times, especially for the Magic Kingdom. We have found we can cover almost all of Fantasyland with this extra hour! If this is what you're referring to, then, yes, you'll need to be a Disney resort guest to get in early. Keep in mind though, that your definition of "guest" for this Extra Magic Hour may be broader than you realize. Guests of the
Swan and
Dolphin hotels, Shades of Green resort and the Hilton on Hotel Plaza Boulevard also receive this as a benefit for staying at those off-property resorts.
Otherwise, if you are just wanting to "get there early" and arrive to get a good parking space or be nearer the gate for opening, you are welcome to do that, regardless of whether you're staying on property or not.
Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
