    How early do I need to make my reservation for the Mears Transportation or the Sunshine Flyer? My hubby & I are arriving on 11/17. Thanks!

    Hello Jeanie!

    I used Mears Connect on my June Walt Disney World vacation to get from the Orlando International Airport to Disney's Pop Century Resort, and it was quick and easy. I plan on trying the Sunshine Flyer on an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation to experience that transportation service.

    The Mears Connect Service is very similar to Magical Express (which was discontinued in January 2022). Where you get on the bus to your Walt Disney World Resort is located in the exact location in Terminal B level 1, the ground transportation level of the Orlando International Airport where the Magical Express was located. You make your reservations for your arrival and departure dates and times online through their respective websites ahead of time as long as you already have your flights booked. You will need to enter your flight information when you step through the process of making a reservation. I made my Mears Connect Reservation 3 weeks before my June Walt Disney World vacation. If you want to make your reservations right now, you can because dates are available throughout 2022 and 2023.
