Hello. We have early morning magic booked at Hollywood studios for July 17. Just wondering what time the parking lot trams start running on that day? We are staying g outside of Disney and want to be sure we can get to the park in time.

    Hi Melanie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

I recently had a chance to play alongside Andy’s Toys at Toy Story Land and it truly was a great day. My little guy couldn’t believe all of the fun details and characters that surrounded him. He also loved all of the attractions in this part of Disney’s Hollywood Studios and was bummed that we couldn’t do them over and over again. That’s why I think you’re going to have a blast at Disney Early Morning Magic - Toy Story Land during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

Based on my experience, the parking lot trams start running about an hour before the Parks open for the day, but sometimes a bit earlier than that if there are any Special Events taking place that morning. Because you’ll be arriving before most of the crowd, you’ll probably get a parking spot in one of the first few rows in the lot, which means you’ll only be about a 5 minute walk from the main entrance. You may find you don’t even need the parking tram to get there!

I hope my answer helps you plan a smooth start to your Disney Day! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
