When there are early Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom between 8am and 9am and the park officially opens at 9am to non Disney resort guests is there an Opening Ceremony at 8am, 9am or both? Don’t want to miss it! Thank you x

    Hi there Danielle!

I'm so glad that you chose to write to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your fantastic question!

I absolutely LOVE the Magic Kingdom Welcome Show that happens each day as the park officially opens to guests for the day! It's the most perfectly magical way to start the day!

On days where Magic Kingdom has Morning Extra Magic Hours, this 'Opening Ceremony' occurs only once and at the earlier time when the park first opens for the day. The show begins at 7:45am on Extra Magic Mornings and 8:45am on 'regular' park hours days. If you want to be there on time, be sure to plan to arrive at Magic Kingdom no later than 7:30am/8:30am to allow time to get through the bag check and ticket turnstiles before securing your spot with a great view of the train station up above! You definitely don't want to miss seeing this fantastic show at least once during your visit.

I hope this information helps you out Danielle!
If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to write me back. I'd love to hear from you again!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
