    When Early Magic Hours are available at Magic Kingdom do the monorails operate early as well?

    Hello Matthias,

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question. One of my reasons for staying on property at a Walt Disney World Resort is being able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours. It allows me and my family to save time waiting in line for some of our favorite rides and attractions by getting into the parks early to minimize my wait time.

    The Walt Disney World Monorail System operates from 30 minutes prior to earliest park opening until one hour after latest park closing. Bus service from Disney Resort hotels begins 45 minutes prior to park opening and ends 1 hour prior to park closing. This would include Extra Magic Hour Mornings as well. However, park hours are always subject to change, so you will always want to confirm with a Cast Member when you arrive for any changes or updates.
