How early can we line up for general seating (no dining pkg.) for the 5p.m. Candlelight Processional Show on Tues. Dec.11th? and when do they let you start seating? I understand it is first come, first serve?

    Hey Rhonda!

The Candlelight Processional is a truly beautiful show.  I can never make it through the performance without goosebumps and tears in my eyes.  It's definitely one of the highlights of celebrating the holidays at Walt Disney World.

As of today, Jodi Benson (voice of Ariel in Disney's "The Little Mermaid") is scheduled to narrate the December 11th performances of Candlelight Processional.  You can expect lines for the first-come, first-served seating to begin around an hour prior to showtime, if not sooner for certain narrators.  My suggestion is to head towards the American Adventure pavilion around 90 minutes prior to showtime and see what the line is like.  If there isn't a large queue, grab something to eat nearby, experience the American Adventure attraction, or catch a performance of The Voices of Liberty.  Keep an eye on the line and take your place once folks start lining up.

The good news is, the weekday shows tend to be less crowded. I would expect the line to start forming closer to the 60 minute mark.  It's always a good idea to arrive early, however, and keep an eye on the line if you definitely want to get a seat inside of the theater.

If you do not wish to wait in the line, you can always take your chances at securing a standing spot at the back of the American Gardens Theater.  The show is approximately 60 minutes long and you'll be standing for the entire performance.
