Hi there, Daniel!
Welcome to planDisney where it’s always a practically perfect day to discuss an upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
It looks like you’re planning to spend some time at Disney Springs during your visit, Daniel, and that sounds like a great idea!
Disney Springs has come a long way from the Downtown Disney of my childhood. The shopping and dining options are so elevated that I always insist on spending at least a few hours there during each magical vacation.
While
parking at Disney Springs is complimentary, the parking garages are intended for use by those visiting Disney Springs. With this in mind, there are no standard hours for the various parking garages, but you can expect their opening and closing times to fall within an hour or two of
Disney Springs operating hours each day. For example, on a day that Disney Springs opens at 10 AM, and closes at 11 PM you would likely not be able to access the parking deck before 9 AM and would need to leave around midnight as overnight parking is not permitted. Please keep in mind that these times are approximate and based on personal observations and insight as there are no hours readily available.
Even if the timing works with your schedule, it’s also important to note that there are no buses that run directly from Disney Springs to Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. To make your way from Disney Springs to EPCOT, you would need to connect through a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Between the later access to parking and time required to connect buses, I think you’ll find that it is a much better use of your time and theme park ticket to head directly to EPCOT and park there. Between the newly unveiled World Celebration, seasonal festivals, delicious dining, and recently added attractions and experiences (such as
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana), EPCOT is a theme park in which you'll want to spend as much time as possible!
I hope this information helps you prepare for your visit, Daniel! If you are in need of additional assistance, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
