Hi Keri, and welcome to planDisney! It's an honor to receive your first question. Planning a trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort is an exciting adventure, and I'm totally with you for not wanting to waste a minute. Let's get right into it!
Typically, you'll be able to enter the Theme Parks up to an hour before the official opening time. Of course, this can vary depending on the day's events, like
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests. Once inside, you can explore Main Street, U.S.A. and the area in front of Cinderella Castle before the Let
The Magic Begin welcome show. And if you've got a
dining reservation, you can enter the park up to 15 minutes before the first seating time, usually around 8AM.
So let's say you're planning to visit
Magic Kingdom, and it's set to open at 9AM. You can start making your way in at around 8AM, but you won't be able to ride any attractions or leave Main Street, U.S.A. just yet. If you're hoping to snap some photos in an empty park, keep in mind that plenty of other Guests will be there early, too. However, if you make a dining reservation, you can strategically enter the park earlier and beat the crowds. It might be worth snagging the first available time on the day of your visit.
Otherwise, you can always stop by
Main Street Bakery, grab a cup of Starbucks coffee (or two, in my case!), and indulge in some Mickey-shaped Cinnamon Roll or Tiana's Chantilly Cake to start your day right.
I hope that helps, Keri! We're so excited for you to experience The Most Magical Place on Earth, and we're here to answer any other questions you might have.
Don't hesitate to reach out - we're always happy to help a friend like you!
Cheers
Nilson
