Greetings Dawn,
The grim-grinning ghosts are thrilled you'll be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort during the month of October. You will fall in love with the milder temperatures and autumnal decor that accompany your stay. You will also be visiting during
The World's Most Magical Celebration, which means the
Beacons of Magic will light your way at each of the
four theme parks.
The 2022 dates for
Disney After Hours Boo Bash at
Magic Kingdom park have not yet been released, but I encourage you to keep an all-seeing eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and Walt Disney World website for updates. Last year, tickets for this ghoulishly delightful event went on sale in June. This past fall, my husband and I enjoyed a Boo Bash date night full of ghoulish character sightings, bewitching treats, and spook-tacular Disney PhotoPass shots. Little Leota from The Haunted Mansion wants me to remind you to be sure to bring your death certificate.
Great news, Dawn, the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is not a separately ticketed event and is included in your
park admission, though a
theme park reservation at
EPCOT is required. I recommend you keep an eye on the
theme park reservation availability calendar and book your theme park reservation as soon as you have your tickets, just to be safe. This is a popular festival that tends to fill up, especially on weekends. My friends and I enjoy tasting our way around World Showcase and enjoying a wide variety of entertainment offerings. The much-anticipated
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will also be open in time for your visit.
With so many exciting things to look forward to, I know you're just dying to start planning. The happy haunts at planDisney are here to help.
Beware of hitchhiking ghosts,
Jennifer
