How early do you have to go to see the disney Wishes fireworks? I have a dinner reservation at Be Out Guest at 8:55 pm and was wondering if that'll give us enough time to also catch the fireworks (10pm i think?)

    Sarah:

I have found that a dinner reservation at a table-service restaurant at Disney World usually takes about 1.5 hours from arrival at the podium to getting my receipt to sign, give or take 5 minutes on either end. So, with an 8:55 p.m. reservation for 10:00 p.m. fireworks, your time-frame is tight to me, especially given the fact you're not allowing yourself enough time to locate a standing position from which to view the fireworks. Disney dining reservation times come available all the time--even for a popular restaurant like Be Our Guest--now that Disney requires a credit card to hold many reservations. An 8 p.m. reservation would suit me better.

Now I must ask, have you looked at the Magic Kingdom calendar to see if the fireworks for that evening are indeed at 10 p.m.? They tend to change from night to night and season to season, so don't go on the time from your last trip. Just a precaution.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
