Early flight in to WDW long before 4 PM check in. Can we go from airport via ME to Old Ket West Resort and drop off personal items from the plane at the resort...hit the parks and return to retrieve our property at check in time? Is that a safe option?

Hi there, Kathy! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panels! Thanks for taking the time to reach out and asking another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

As someone that always books early flights, this is a common concern of my own actually. I don’t know about you but I’m always excited to get adventuring as soon as I arrive at Walt Disney World Resort! Fortunately, this is a very easy thing to do when staying at a Disney Resort hotel!

Upon arriving at Orlando International Airport, you can make your way over to Disney’s Magical Express with your belongings. If you and your family affixed the yellow tags to any of your checked luggage, you can rest easy knowing that these items will be shipped over to your Disney Resort hotel and held there until your room is ready.

For all other items, you can actually stop by Bell Services at Disney’s Old Key West Resort and have them look after your luggage! This is a safe, complimentary service for all Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and is one of my personal favorite perks of staying on property. Once you’ve dropped off your luggage, you are free to go visit the parks or enjoy the amenities your Disney Resort hotel has to offer. Once your room is ready, you can either stop by Bell Services to grab your items or have them delivered to your room.

I hope this information assists you in continuing to plan for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
