Hello Lynn! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Your visit to
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is coming up soon! I know when I have a Walt Disney World Resort visit, I like to pack as much as possible in advance. I think it helps me get excited about the trip, but also gives me enough time to think of every outfit possibility!
Since your trip is still a few weeks away, it's difficult to predict exactly what the temperatures will be during your stay. A brief internet search states that the average temperatures at Walt Disney World Resort for the month of February are in the 70s with lows in the 50s. However, you will want to keep watching the forecast as your travel dates get closer.
Depending on your tolerance of those temperatures, packing a sweatshirt might be a good idea! There are
locker rentals available in each theme park, water park, and Disney Springs. I have used the lockers at Magic Kingdom Park, and our group was able to fit several sweaters and bags in the locker safely. Another option would be to take a midday break and return your items to your hotel room. If you're visiting Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park that day, you can take the
complimentary bus transportation. If you're in EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios, the
Disney Skyliner is an option, as well as the bus system.
Of course, if you decide not to bring warm layers to the park, you can purchase something in the theme parks! Walt Disney World Resort often has options available for any weather.
Lynn, you're visiting during a great time because you can still experience the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration throughout Walt Disney World Resort. I highly recommend
meeting Mickey in his celebration outfit and visiting all four
Beacons of Magic during your stay. In EPCOT, you can check out the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts which features the
Disney on BROADWAY Concert Series, and the chance to
meet the artists who create some incredible Disney artwork!
I hope your trip is practically perfect in every way, Lynn! Come visit us again at
planDisney if you have any more questions.
