Hello there, Laura!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with a swell
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question.
Oh boy! Soon, you'll be walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. on your way to a thrilling Disney day. I bet you're counting down the minutes! I'm here to help you prepare for a memorable morning at
Magic Kingdom Park.
Laura, there's nothing like the quiet hustle and bustle of a Walt Disney World Resort theme park, first thing in the morning. (It's my favorite part of every Disney day!) It's great to know that you'll be staying at a Disney Resort hotel and are planning to take advantage of
early theme park entry. This special benefit is only one of the excellent reasons my family chooses to stay on property during every Walt Disney World Resort vacation. While Guests are usually permitted into some sections of Magic Kingdom Park at the time early theme park entry begins, Cast Members usually begin allowing Guests onto Main Street, U.S.A. ahead of this window. In my experience, I've observed that Guests can usually start entering Main Street, U.S.A. about 30 minutes before early entry begins to browse in the shops and collect their coffees at the
Main Street Bakery! (I took note of this during a recent trip when my son and I had breakfast reservations at
The Crystal Palace before the early entry period began.)
Depending on which fabulous Disney Resort hotel you'll be checking into, you'll have different options for
complimentary transportation to Magic Kingdom Park, Laura. Bus service usually starts operating around 45 minutes before the early entry period begins, whereas the
Walt Disney World Monorail services begin operation approximately 30 minutes prior to this window. Watercraft transportation is subject to weather conditions and other factors, so be sure to check in with a friendly Cast Member at the Front Desk of your Resort hotel for operational hours if you'll be relying on ferryboats for early morning Magic Kingdom Park access.
Laura, I hope you've found this information useful as you prepare for a wonder-filled holiday at The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any additional questions throughout your stay, you're always welcome to stop back by
planDisney again anytime. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
