Hello, Penny, welcome to
planDisney!
Your question made me smile, Penny. I am such an early bird when it comes to a
Walt Disney World vacation. I love to get to the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks as early as possible to check off most of my must-do attractions before the parks tend to fill up for the day.
Complimentary transportation to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks starts running about 45 minutes prior to that particular park's scheduled opening time. Typically, I like to be at the bus stop right at an hour prior to be one of the first few in line and also to make sure I catch that first bus over to the theme parks in case it is running a little bit early - which can happen. This will give you plenty of time to make it over to the theme park you are visiting, go through security, scan into the actual park and make it to the queue of your first attraction before the park is technically open for the day. This really does set your day up for success, Penny. To give you an example, if Magic Kingdom Park opens at 8:00 a.m. for regular Guests and 7:30 for early entry to Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guests, then the bus will start running right around 6:45. This is the same for the water transportation, the monorail and the Disney Skyliner if you plan on using those modes of transportation as well.
I hope this helps you plan your day a little bit better, Penny. If you have any other questions, please feel free to drop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
