Hey there, Sharon! It's so great to have you visit with my friends and me here at planDisney.
Securing
Advanced Dining Reservations is always at the top of my list for my Disney trips.
For Disney dining reservations, you can begin making reservations 60 days before your arrival date, and that’s the date everything opens up for you.
If you’re staying at a
Disney resort, you get an extra perk that makes planning a whole lot easier. Instead of booking one day at a time, you can make reservations for your entire trip, up to 10 days, all at once when that 60-day window hits. It takes a lot of pressure off, especially if you’re trying to grab harder-to-get reservations, like
‘Ohana,
Space 220, or
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.
If you’re not staying at a Disney resort, you still get access to the 60-day booking window, but you’ll need to make reservations day by day. That can sometimes make popular restaurants a little trickier to secure, so it helps to start early and be flexible with meal times if you can.
No matter where you’re staying, reservations open bright and early at about 5:45am Eastern. It’s definitely worth waking up a few minutes before that if you’re trying to lock in those big favorites. I like to map out the order I’ll search in ahead of time so I’m not scrambling once the clock hits.
Overall, that 60-day mark is the key moment for dining, and knowing exactly when and how it opens gives you the best chance of getting the meals you want.
Cheers, Sharon, to securing your top dining places. If you need more help with your upcoming trip, stop by and visit with us again!
Toodles,
Korliss
