Hello there, Jill, and welcome to
planDisney. I love the enthusiasm about planning your Walt Disney World vacation. I know you've got to be so excited!
Jill, currently, you can make your
advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to your check-in day for the length of your stay up to ten days. This timeframe changed when Walt Disney World reopened after the shutdown last year. Since your vacation is next year, I would keep an eye out for updates about the reservation-making process. But if everything stays the same you'll be able to make them 60 days prior. To make your dining reservations you can do them online starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time or over the phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting at 7:00 p.m. Some of the best places fill up really quickly, so if you can I'd recommend you be online right before 6:00 a.m.
If you are looking for any dining recommendations,
The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs is my absolute favorite. The restaurant is set right on the lake of Disney Springs and provides stunning views of the sunset. The menu is wonderful and has something for even the pickiest of eaters. My go-to order right now is the lobster roll, served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. Yum! If you are looking for a great character meal, breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera is really great. I love getting to be at Disney's Rivera Resort because it is so beautiful and dining with Mickey and the gang is always so much fun.
I hope this helps, Jill. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and happy planning!
