Early Dec visit. (me, mom, 4yr, 2 yr) The last 2 times we stayed at CBR. We are thinking of possibly staying at Beach Club. is it worth the upgrade? My boys love the pool, but it will be Dec. Spend majority of time at MK and character dining. Thanks!!!

Hi there Bria. Early December is an absolutely gorgeous time of year to visit Walt Disney World! The weather is typically very mild and the Disney resort hotels and theme parks are all dressed to impress with holiday sparkle!

Based on the time of year, the age of your two little boys and your theme park touring plans, I'd recommend that you consider one of the Deluxe Resorts on the monorail line. A great bang for your buck can be found at Disney's Contemporary Resort in the Garden Wing Building. Not only would you be walking distance to the Magic Kingdom, Chef Mickey's (one of the most popular onsite character dining locations) would be literally steps away from your guest room in the resort concourse! Your two sons are certain to enjoy the monorail gliding by overhead in the lobby, the gingerbread displays in the main atrium and the amazing view from the 4th floor observation deck of the nightly fireworks displays over Magic Kingdom Park. It's also the perfect location for mid-day nap breaks!

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Feel free to send more questions my way in the days leading up to your December trip!
