How early do buses return to Disney Resorts in the morning from the parks? I was interested in getting to Hollywood Studios before park opening and taking a bus to Saratoga Springs to walk to Disney Springs to do the virtual queue for Santa at the Springs.

    Welcome back to planDisney, Jennifer!

I'm so glad you dropped by with another question as you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit.  Is the anticipation starting to set in yet? Since you're planning to pay a visit to the jolly old Saint Nick, it sounds like you'll be visiting in the next few weeks.  So get excited –– I have a feeling that there's lots of holiday pixie dust headed your way!

Here's the great news –– Walt Disney World's complimentary bus service is a round-trip service.  In most cases, when a bus drops off Resort Guests at one of the theme parks, water parks, or Disney Springs, it picks up any Guests who are waiting at the bus stop and heads right back to its starting point to complete the route again.  This means that you can hop on a bus to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa as soon as the day's first load of passengers arrives at Disney's Hollywood Studios. To do this, you'll just need to head to the bus stop for Saratoga Springs and wait for the next (or first!) bus to arrive.

As my Disney Vacation Club Home Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa has a special place in my heart.  One of the things I love most about it is that we can easily make our way to Disney Springs via boat transportation or the super convenient walking path, so I'm excited to hear that you'll be using that strategy to join the virtual queue to meet Santa Claus at Once Upon a Toy.  And if you're looking for a sweet (and potentially boozy) treat after you meet the big man, head on over to The Ganachery, where you'll find Peppermint, the Rowdy Reindeer from December 18-30, 2022.  This adorable dark chocolate reindeer is available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions, and it's definitely at the top of my list of holiday treats to try this year.  Be sure to check it out!

Thanks so much for visiting us again at planDisney, Jennifer.  I'm wishing you a happy holiday season and a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
