Hi, Ashley! It's always a pleasure to help a fellow Pennsylvanian here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Some people say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It is definitely my favorite meal of the day, and your question currently has me craving Mickey waffles! When I visit the
Walt Disney World Resort with my family, I like to book a pre-park opening breakfast
reservation. I love entering the
theme parks early and snapping a few pictures without other guests in the background. Then after enjoying a delicious meal, it's the perfect chance to head to a popular
attraction before most guests enter the park.
According to the Walt Disney World website,
bus service from
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels to the theme parks begins 45 minutes prior to park opening. You can always check with the concierge at your resort hotel to see if the busses will be running any earlier on the day of your visit, but if that doesn't work out for you, I would recommend using the
Disney Minnie Van Service.
The Disney Minnie Van Service begins operating daily at 6:30 a.m., so it's a great way to get to an early morning breakfast reservation. You can use the Lyft app on your phone to request and pay for a Minnie Van, and a Cast Member will arrive in an adorable red and white polka dot vehicle to whisk you away to any location on Walt Disney World Resort property. Minnie Vans can accommodate up to six guests and come equipped with two child seats if needed.
The Disney Minnie Van Service is such a convenient transportation option, especially when you are headed to
Magic Kingdom Park. Other ride-sharing services must pick Magic Kingdom Park guests up and drop them off at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). Once you are dropped off at the Transportation and Ticket Center, you must take the
monorail or a
ferryboat to Magic Kingdom Park. However, Disney Minnie Van Service picks guests up and drops them off at the bus stop right outside of the Magic Kingdom Park gates.
Ashley, I hope you enjoy your breakfast, as well as the rest of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Have a magical day!
Samantha
