    We are going for an early breakfast at the Contemporary. I understand that Disney have launched their own on site Minnie Vans. How do we book one to get us to our destination and if prebooking required how far in advance will they need to be booked.

    Hello Janice!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    After the D23 Expo 2017 this year, I had to regroup and gather my senses after the countless exciting additions coming to Walt Disney World Resort in the next few years. I was more than thrilled when I found out that the "Minnie" Van point-to-point Transportation Service would be starting at a few select Resort Hotels as early as this month.

    Starting at Disney's Boardwalk Resort and Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts(with more Resort Hotels to be included in the future), Guests are able to use their smartphones to arrange one-way transportation to any location on Walt Disney World Resort property.

    After speaking with a Guest who has gone through a "soft opening"(trial run) of the Minnie Van Transportation Service, you book the transportation a couple of hours in advance on your smartphone for transportation that same day.

    As it stands, I would check with Guest Services at my Resort Hotel upon Check-In to verify if the service is available and book my trip as soon as I was available as I am sure the Minnie Van Transportation Service will be extremely popular.

    If there is still some time before your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I recommend that you check the Disney Parks Blog as they release more information on how to use the service and the Resort Hotels that will be included.
