Hi April, How exciting that you are already prepared to book a vacation! You can reserve a Disney Resort room up to 499 days in advance of your intended check out date by calling 1-407-W-DISNEY. However, you can not make an on-line reservation until 2011 pricing information has been released. Historically, rates are released in mid to late summer for the upcoming year. If you call now, Disney will charge you for a single night rate based on this year and then automatically adjusts your rate when the 2011 pricing comes out. While vacation packages can only be booked once the 2011 rates are released, you can easily convert a "room only" reservation to a package by calling back once rates are available. In addition, if any applicable discounts or special offers become available, you can ask to check if your reservation is eligible. Have fun planning!
