Aloha, Keala!
Welcome to planDisney and mahalo for stopping by with your question. There's no place I'd rather be than riding the Hawaiian roller coaster ride at
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. It is one of my favorite Disney Resorts, bringing together the spirit of Aloha and the magic of Disney for a memorable family vacation.
Keala, I called Aulani Reservations to check how far in advance you can book the
'Imiloa Na Hoku activity. You can do so beginning 45 days in advance, and the fee is $45 per person (subject to change). It is a very special way to learn from local experts about the role stars and navigation played in the lives of Ancient Polynesians. When we visit Hawaii, we love to learn new things and enjoy cultural experiences. This activity combines both and will have the added magical touch that Disney provides.
While I haven't done the Stargazing experience at the Four Seasons in Ko Olina, it appears that some notable differences are that the Four Seasons activity is adults only. It is also more expensive, at $50 per person, and can only be booked by in-house Guests of the hotel.
The 'Imiloa Na Hoku offers times for families, teens/tweens, and adults on select days. And while these two activities sound similar, Disney's legendary storytelling is likely to make the stargazing at Aulani engaging and educational, with the added pixie dust only Disney can provide.
Be sure to download the Aulani app, which includes the
Daily 'Iwa, to your phone. This is where you'll find all of the activities taking place at the Resort each day, including when the 'Imiloa Na Hoku is being offered.
I hope this helps you, Keala! If you have any further questions, surf back here to see me. Here at planDisney, you are part of our 'ohana. 'Ohana means family, and that means nobody gets left behind.
A Hui Hou,
Keri
