Hi Sandra!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you're getting ready for a high-seas adventure aboard Disney Cruise Line. Whenever someone asks me what my favorite thing to do onboard is, I can never pick just one thing! I love so many aspects of sailing with Captain Mickey: the onboard entertainment, the amazing food, unbelievable customer service and
Castaway Cay are just some of the reasons why it's my favorite vacation destination!
I completely understand wanting to step aboard your Disney Cruise ship as early as possible on embarkation day! Guests choose their
Port Arrival Time during the Online Check-in process. Online Check-in opens 75 days prior to your cruise setting sail for first-time cruisers and even earlier for Castaway Club Members (those who have previously sailed with Disney). Once you arrive at the Cruise Terminal during your designated Port Arrival Time, you'll check in for your cruise and be given a boarding number. Once your number is called, you'll be onboard and exploring all that the ship has to offer!
Guests staying in a Concierge-level stateroom or who are Platinum Castaway Club Members do not have designated Port Arrival Times and can board the ship as soon as they're done checking in at the Cruise Terminal and boarding has begun. If neither of these scenarios apply to your pirate crew, I recommend completing your Online Check-in as soon as your advance booking window opens because the earlier Port Arrival Times tend to fill up quickly.
Sandra, I'm so excited for your upcoming Disney Cruise! I'll be sending you all my pixie dust, wishing you get an early Port Arrival Time so your voyage can begin!
