Hi, Kelsey!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney. I completely understand wanting to board your Disney Cruise as early as possible. It is hard to wait for the fun to begin!
As Guests complete their Online Check-In, they are usually able to select an available
Port Arrival Time. In my experience, the earliest time is often around 11:00 A.M., though that time can vary depending on what is left when your Online Check-In window opens.
Your
Online Check-In date is tied to your
Castaway Club membership level. First-time cruisers can typically check in 30 days before sailing, while returning Guests get earlier access based on their status. It’s definitely worth setting a reminder so you can try to snag the Port Arrival Time you want! Checking in right as your window opens also helps ensure everything is squared away long before Embarkation Day, which makes the whole process feel a lot smoother.
When you arrive at your departure port during your designated time window, the crew will verify your citizenship documents and get you checked in. After that, they’ll begin calling Boarding Groups to head onto the ship. Just keep in mind that your Boarding Group time might not match your Port Arrival Time. Also, if you arrive early, they may have you wait outside the terminal until your scheduled time.
Before you sail, make sure you download the
Navigator app! It’s your go-to tool for everything onboard, including daily activities, dining times, deck plans, and even messaging your travel party while at sea. Once you’re on the ship, the app updates in real time, so you’ll always know what’s happening!
Kelsey, I'm wishing you a smooth check-in, an easy embarkation, and a truly unforgettable voyage. I hope your cruise is filled with all the magic you’ve been dreaming about! Please feel free to reach out to planDisney again if you have more questions.
Happy sailing!
Jen
