Greetings Kimberly! Just seeing your question gets me all excited for the upcoming holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has always been such a fun time for my family. We love taking in the snow on Main Street U.S.A., while sipping some fresh hot chocolate. Our favorite activity is Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade. We love the music and I feel like a school girl when the Toy Soldiers are marching!
In the past, you have been able to enter Magic Kingdom on a party night at approximately 4:00 P.M. with your Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket. This early entry time is not guaranteed and is subject to change without notice. From Magic Kingdom Park you can either walk to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, or take the monorail. They ask that you arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to your dining reservation time. After your meal, you can re-enter Magic Kingdom Park.
If it was me, I would try to get an earlier dining reservation. The reason I say this is because there are so many fun opportunities during the party, I never feel like there is enough time to experience everything. I also would hate for you to feel rushed through your meal at
Chef Mickey’s. It is so much fun to interact with the characters and with all of the food choices; you may find yourself at this restaurant for well over an hour.
I hope that you enjoy all of the magic that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party has to offer, without feeling rushed!
