Hi there, John!
I'm adding some pixie dust to this answer in the hopes that it makes it to you before you head to the parks this morning. We appreciate you stopping by planDisney with your question, so let's not waste a minute in helping you navigate your way to the magic.
Early Entry is a wonderful perk offered to Disneyland Resort Guests, allowing for 30 magical minutes in either Disneyland Park or California Adventure ahead of opening. I took a look a the
park hours for today, August 3rd, and you are correct—there are no Early Entry hours offered at either location. It looks like they resume tomorrow at California Adventure, alternating between the two parks for the remainder of the week, subject to change. Typically, California Adventure does offer Early Entry on Sundays, so today must be a special case. If you're curious, I would ask a Cast Member at your Disneyland Resort Hotel to see if they may have some additional information.
While you are looking at the calendar, you may want to take a look at the
Entertainment Schedule and earmark any must-see shows, parades, and nighttime spectaculars! The parks are especially celebratory with the
70th Anniversary in full swing, and there is a lot to choose from! If you are spending the evening at Disneyland, the
Paint the Night parade along Main Street and
Wondrous Journeys at Sleeping Beauty Castle are both an absolute must-do! These are limited-time offerings, so they may not be available for your next visit! If you are over at California Adventure, make time for
World of Color Happiness! during your evening for Disney storytelling at its best!
John, I sure hope this has been helpful! If you have any more questions, come back to see us here at
planDisney. Wishing you an unforgettable visit this week!
Magic awaits!
Tara
