Hello there, Dan. Welcome to planDisney. You are going to have such a wonderful time visiting in October. It's one of my favorite times of the year to go.
Isn't it so excited that
'Ohana is back open for guests to enjoy? I know I've missed it so much and am glad to see it come back. Right now, Dan, you are able to make
advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to your vacation. You are able to do so online starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time or over the phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting at 7:00 a.m. If your arrival date is October 10th, 2021, by my calculations the day you would be making advanced dining reservations is Wednesday, August 11th. Of course, you'll want to double-check my math just to be sure. On that date, you'll be able to make your advanced dining reservations for the entire length of your stay up to 10 days so you'll want to have your whole itinerary planned out by then. I'd be sure to set my alarm pretty early that morning and try to get up for the 6:00 a.m. online opening time. Some of the best places can fill up quickly and I know people are wanting to get back to dining at 'Ohana so I expect it to be a pretty hard dinner reservation to get. I like to use the
MyDisneyExperience app to make my dining reservations. I find it the quickest way to grab what I want right at that 60 days out mark.
Dan, another great restaurant to consider making advanced dining reservations at is
The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. Have you eaten there before? If not, you should put it on your must-try list. It's actually my very favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World right now. The BOATHOUSE is found on the lake at Disney Springs and the waterfront tables provide the most stunning view of the sun setting over Disney Springs. The food is amazing and there really is something for everyone on the menu. My go-to order right now is the lobster roll, served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. Chefs kiss, it is amazing!
I have my fingers crossed that you'll be able to snag a dinner reservation at 'Ohana on your upcoming vacation, Dan. If you need more dining suggestions, stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have a great day!
