What is the earliest reservation time for breakfast at the Plaza Inn during November 2022? Is there ever any dining reservations that take place before the park officially opens for the day?

    Welcome BACK, Lizzie!

It's so much fun helping you plan your upcoming Disneyland Resort vacation! Thank you again for sending another wonderful planning question to us hEAR at planDisney! Did you know that every question you ask not only helps you plan for your Best! Disney! Days! Ever!, but also helps a future guest plan theirs as these answers are sEARchable. So keep your questions coming as we not only want to assist you but future friends too!

Oh, I love the Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park breakfast buffet! Not only is the meal delicious, but this dining time also features the most Disney friends in one Character Dining location. Be sure to have your autograph book ready and your phone fully charged because you and your crew will be cheesing it up all morning! Unlike Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, in-park reservation-accepted Disneyland Dining Locations typically do not offer seating times outside of the posted operating hours for each Disney day.

Do note that there is a special section of the Disneyland Park Entrance Gate for those with breakfast dining reservations; however, in my experience, this gate opens maybe 15 minutes before the standard admission time. This section is located all the way on the left side of the turnstiles, closest to the Lost and Found service desk. Pro Tip: If you're a Guest of a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you should be able to enter the theme park during the Early Entry opening time, which is half an hour before that day's listed time for Disneyland Park. This will give you plenty of time to get to Plaza Inn, which is located at the end of Main Street U.S.A., and should even allow for some time to grab a few park-opening pictures, too.

Pro Tip: If you're not staying at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, the Disneyland Hotel, or Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, you'll want to aim to be in the standard admission line about 30 to 45 minutes ahead of the parking opening if your reservation is right at the park's opening time.

Bonus Pro Tip: You might be able to find earlier dining times at the other character dining locations.

I hope that this helped clEAR your question up, Lizzie! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Panel Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
