Hiya Gernot,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to answer your question about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Visiting in the summer is always fun, but I always like to remind people that you should still add an umbrella/poncho and extra socks to your packing list. Florida may be the Sunshine State, but it is no stranger to an afternoon rain downpour in the summer months. With a little preparation, you can avoid the rain putting a damper on your day and get back to the business of riding
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Now on to the critical business, your question! Guest Relations at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park opens up in line with the Theme Park operating hours for the day. Since park hours tend to fluctuate, I suggest looking at the
Theme Park Hours calendar for the most up-to-date park hours during your visit to find out when it will be open. Another option for picking up your Will Call tickets is to stop by
Disney Springs Ticket Center. You will save on parking, and since they are generally open later than the Theme Parks, you can swing by and pick up your tickets the night before you visit Disney's Animal Kingdom. It's a win-win! Plus, you get more time in the Theme Parks because you will avoid waiting in line at Guest Relations at Disney's Animal Kingdom and spend more time on
Kilimanjaro Safari. Be sure to verify the hours for the Disney Ticket Center before heading there. After picking up your Will Call tickets, be sure to stop by World of Disney for the biggest and best (in my opinion) selection of Walt Disney World Merchandise and enjoy some of the yummy food offerings at Disney Springs while you are at it.
I hope I have answered your question Gernot. If there is anything else you need, please come back and see us!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
