Hi there Nichelle,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know you are so excited for your upcoming vacation on the Disney Magic. You have so many wonderful things to look forward to aboard the Magic, especially after its
mini-makeover! I can’t wait to dine at Rapunzel’s Royal Table as I'm certain it will be magical!
Disembarking after a wonderful week of vacation can be so hard! While you want to stay on as long as possible, the sailing does come to an end and they will make you leave the ship – although I have tried to convince my husband mid-cruise that we need to tack on a second week to that particular vacation…but that hasn’t happened yet!
For those Guests who have earlier flights or need to get a head start on the road, there is always the option to do “Express Walk Off” on Disembarkation Day. The catch to this is that you are required to carry off all of your luggage on your own instead of leaving it out the night before for stateroom hosts to collect and then you pick it up inside the port. Cabanas will be open for an early breakfast and then once the ship has been cleared, the announcement will be made for those opting for Express Walk Off (usually around 7:30AM). This would be my recommendation for early flights. Otherwise, you wait until they notify you that your luggage has been delivered to the port and you can disembark. They do aim to get everyone off the shop by 9:00AM so if that timing works into your schedule then you can opt for this! You will have to go through Customs and Immigration and sometimes those lines do back up, so plan accordingly.
Wishing you a wonderful and magical trip aboard one of my four favorite Disney Cruise Line ships!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
