Is there an earlier time other than 180 days out to make dining and show reservations ie.dining with River of Lights show?

Hello Charles and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a great question about your upcoming plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort.
One of my own biggest joys when planning Disney trips is choosing where to dine!  I absolutely love researching all the new and interesting dining locations and for my next visit can't wait to try The Edison which is now open at Disney Springs
I've some great news for you in that there are so many wonderful Benefits to Staying at Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and one of those super perks is that Guests can indeed begin making those all important Advanced Dining Reservations a whole 180 days prior to arrival plus for a further 10 days into their trip via My Disney Experience or by speaking with a helpful Cast member by dialling the telephone number for Dining Reservations contained within this useful Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory.  This super magical advantage is practically perfect in every way for helping to secure those sometimes hard to snag reservations for Dinner Shows, Character Dining and also is great for options such as Rivers of Light Dining Packages.
Wishing you extra pixie dusted planning towards your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
