Hi Dana! A warm bayou-style welcome back to planDisney. I’m so glad you paddled by with this question because
Lightning Lane strategy is truly its own kind of Disney magic.
Here’s what’s happening: when you try to modify your Lightning Lane selection for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the
My Disney Experience app will only show you return times that don’t conflict with the other Lightning Lane you already have booked. The system is basically trying to save you from double-booking yourself. But I know it might feel like it’s hiding the full menu of return times you really want to see.
Right now, there isn’t a way to view all available times without canceling the Lightning Lane that’s creating the overlap. Modifying only displays times that fit around your current schedule. If you cancel, that original return time is gone for good, so it’s a choose-your-own-adventure moment.
Here’s my favorite workaround before making any big decisions: hop over to the Tip Board and look at
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as if you’re making a brand-new Lightning Lane selection. Don’t tap into it yet! Just peek at the posted return time. That usually gives you a pretty accurate idea of what’s floating around out there, so you can decide whether it’s worth canceling your other Lightning Lane to try for something later.
I hope that helps your plans flow as smoothly as Mama Odie’s magic. If you’d like help navigating the rest of your day at Magic Kingdom, I’m right here and ready to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust!
Dana, you're almost there, and it's going to be the most magical bayou adventure when you arrive!
