    Hello. I am eagerly planning our next trip to Disney World for this December. I had my eyes set on POR, but the shared bus with POFQ has me a little worried. Is it chaotic? We dont want to end up standing to and from the parks with small kids. Thanks!

    My family stays at Port Orleans French Quarter quite frequently.  Now bus routes can always change, sometimes just based on the time of day, but most times after the bus picks us up at French Quarter we head straight to our destination without looping Riverside. 

    Now this will not happen all the time, there is no way to predict.  In my very un-scientific research, it seems each Port Orleans Resort gets its own bus during very busy times such as mornings or when the park closes when one resort's guests can fill the whole bus.  During slower times like mid-day when the bus crowds are much lower, this is when you will more likely find the buses stopping at both resorts.  

    I really have never had too much of a problem with crowded buses.  If you want to avoid the busiest times, stay away from boarding a bus right after the fireworks end at Magic Kingdom or Fantasmic ends at Hollywood Studios.  These are the times when the buses are a bit hectic and you wish for that Fairy Godmother to somehow find you a Coach back to your resort!  Most times, however, you will find that a bus to your destination will be no longer than a 20 minute wait (usually much less) and that you (or at least your kids) will be able to grab a seat.
