We are in DW the week of December 11th. The crowd #s show to be relatively low that week so do I really need to buy the Fantasmic dining pkg to avoid lines to get in? The restaurants attached to that show are not necessarily where I would choose to dine.

    Hi Karen,

The Fantasmic Dining Package is highly recommended and will allow you to enter the theater 30 minutes prior to the show time and sit in a reserved section. Without these vouchers, guests line up 60-90 minutes ahead of time to get in.

In the past, I have opted not to purchase the package and each time, I ended up not getting to see the show. One time (during a "slow time"), it was standing room only 70 minutes ahead of show time. Another time, we saw the line and there was no way our kids wanted to wait that long. More often than not, we purchase the plan just so that we know for certain we can enjoy Fantasmic. That being said, if the crowd predictions are low, you can certainly take your chances and wait in line. There is always a line, the question is how long will it be when you are there. You can always grab a quick service meal to go and eat while waiting in line to help pass the time.

    Have a wonderful vacation,
