Been to DW many times; want to go to DL for 1st time. What is the avg temp during summer? Any "must-dos"? Just me and 22 yr old DD. Am DVC member so any suggestions on which hotel to stay? May be asking many more ?s!

Congrats on your very first visit to my second home, Disneyland, in sunny California.
As someone who frequents both Disney World and Disneyland myself, I am more than happy to help you with these fantastic questions!

Summer temperatures in Anaheim usually average between the high 70s to low 80s during the day and can plummet to the mid to low 60s at night.  Since mornings at Disneyland can be chilly, I recommend dressing in layers that can be peeled off as temperatures rise in the early afternoon.  It's also wise to pack a sweatshirt or hoodie if you plan to stay in the parks for an evening show such as Fantasmic or World of Color.

Since you're a DVC Member, I highly recommend booking a Villa at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa which is the only DVC resort on Disneyland property  Grand Californian Villas is one of the smallest DVC resorts, and availability is extremely limited.  It's definitely a good idea to call member services to inquire about a reservation as soon as possible, since the villas fill to capacity extremely quickly, especially during the Summer months and holidays.

    My Disneyland Must-Dos:
    -Matterhorn Bobsleds
    -Indiana Jones
-Haunted Mansion (you'll love comparing WDW to DL)
-Pirates of the Caribbean (another one to compare)
    -Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
-Book Priority Seating for Blue Bayou Restaurant

    California Adventure:
    -Ariel's Undersea Adventure
    -Goofy's Sky School
    -Sorcerer's Workshop
    -Mickey's Fun Wheel
-Cars Land and Buena Vista Street (**opening June 15)
    -World of Color

I also recommend spending some time exploring the Disneyland Resort Hotels and Downtown Disney! Please write back with any additional questions!  I'm here to help ensure your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is Pixie Dusted in every way! -Amanda F.
