Been to DW many times. ? about GAC. Before my next visit, I will have had a kidney removed and I was wondering if the GAC would be something I need to look into.

    Hi Michelle!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The Guest Assistance Card is now called the called the Disability Access Service Card. It helps guests with a variety of disability and medical needs navigate the parks and enjoy the magic.

Upon arrival to the parks, simply visit Guest Relations and explain to them that you need a Disability Access Service Card. They will then try to best determine which services they can offer that will help improve your experience. I’m not entirely sure what needs you will have as I’m more familiar with the cognitive disabilities, but I know the Cast Members are trained in every area and will be able to provide the best information.

I wish you good luck and pixie dust with your upcoming surgery! I hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
