Hi Sally,
It sounds like you have already had some wonderful experiences with your daughter at Walt Disney World, and now bringing your mother along as well will add a new dimension to the magic! My daughter is also 12 years old. Let me share with you some activities that we have done together at Walt Disney World recently, or that we plan to do in the near future. While your examples were meals, these ideas are not all meals, but do include a food element!
First, consider a lovely
Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This wonderful and refined tradition will have you sipping tea and nibbling on delicious and delicate bites. You can add to this a trip to
Senses Spa, also at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You will need to accompany your daughter at all times, but you can have a spa service as well! On a mother-daughter trip, my daughter and I went to the nail salon at Senses Spa, where she got a manicure and pedicure especially designed for children and I had a pedicure. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon together!
Since you mention that you are going in the spring, do check out the
Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. If you are interested in gardening and horticulture, there are often great seminars offered. There are concerts offered throughout the festival on weekends. Around World Showcase, you will find outdoor kitchens that will allow you to snack on fresh dishes as you wander Epcot.
I hope that these ideas are helpful for you, Sally! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
