Hi Moms, I have been to DW several times with my family of 8+ and we always drove. This year its me&my dd 4&8 coming June 14-21 we r flying in on SW airlines. R they part of the participating airline. I have heard that somethings r different if the

    Hi Lutoya!

You sound just like my family!  We always drove, but recently decided to take advantage of a great deal and flew to Disney on Southwest Airlines.  Let me just say that it will be awfully hard to climb back into a car for 10 hours after that quick flight!

You are right about some things being different when using Southwest.  You will still be able to use the Magical Express transportation service, but without a few of the perks.  Within weeks of your departure date, you should receive a special luggage tag for each person in your party.  Simply attach the tag and wave goodbye to your bags - you won't see them again until they are in your hotel room!!!    The Magical Express motorcoach is sooo convenient, just kick back and relax.  It usually takes around three hours for your luggage to reach your room - you may want to bring any necessities in a bag with you.

Here is where a few of the perks don't apply to Southwest.  On your last day, you will not be automatically checked into your airline, as other guests on different air carriers may be.  Also, you must carry your own luggage with you on the Magical Express motorcoach and then check it in at the airport.  For the most part, you probably won't even know what you are missing!  The service is really spectacular and FREE!

    Much pixie dust,
