Greetings, Keith! I am so excited to hear that you are planning a visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth! I loved taking my children to Walt Disney World when they were little, but there is something so special about going with them now that they're grown up and taking my sons-in-law, as well. They still enjoy the theme parks, and I get a glimpse of what used to be.
I have good news. You should have no issue visiting your daughter and her husband at
Disney's Pop Century Resort. Let the Security Cast Member know that you are a guest at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge and that you are visiting another guest. They will ask for her name and your identification, and may also request her reservation number, so have that on hand.
Your daughter and her husband can visit you at Wilderness Lodge, as well. Since it is a deluxe resort with boat access to
Magic Kingdom Park, they may not be permitted to park at the resort, depending on the time of day and how busy it is.
I love the dining options at Wilderness Lodge. If you're looking for a lot of food and a silly time, make a reservation at Whispering Canyon Cafe. It offers an all-you-care-to-enjoy Western-themed meal with a side of antics and bottomless milkshakes for dessert! If a drink with a view is more your style, head to
Geyser Point Bar & Grill. They have a great menu, and you can catch your favorite team on one of their several TV screens. If you time it right, you can watch the
Electrical Water Pageant from here, as well.
I hope you have the most magical time with the people you love, Keith. If there's anything else we can help with, please feel free to
reach out to me or stop by
planDisney anytime!
Always Dreaming -
