Congratulations on your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World,
Disney's Free Dining Promotion is a great way to save on money during your stay. To make sure that I am understanding your question correctly, you have 4 guests staying the entire vacation with the free dining promotion and two others will be joining your party only for a few days?
If this is the case, my suggestion would be to purchase the minimum amount needed for you entire party of 6. Once you arrive, guests that will be staying longer can purchase extra days for your Magic Your Way Tickets. You can also add other options such as Park Hopper, Water Park Fun & More and currently the No Expiration option is also available.
The credits on Disney's Dining Plan are pooled together and will be categorized based on following:
- Adult Table Service
- Child Table Service
- Quick-Service
- Snacks
The credits are grouped by these categories and are not divided per a person, you will see remaining credits at the bottom of each receipt for meals. Credits will not expire until midnight on your date of departure. For example if you have 6 (adult) guests staying for 5 nights, your traveling party credits will look like this:
- Adult Table Service 30
- Quick-Service 30
- Snack 30
These credits will continue to be deducted until they expire or you no longer have any available credits. I hope this helps and please let me know if you have anymore questions!
