I've never been to DW and am planning a trip in 09. I've never been and don't know where to start. I have 2 kids G7, B5. Apx. how much money is needed? Best time to go, place to stay, etc.? Please help.

Jenny this is so exciting for you and  your family and make the planning process a fun one!  Don't let it become intimidating as it is easier then you think. I will start your process in this answer but don't be afraid to write us again as you have questions along the way!

The first thing you need to do is determine when you would like to come. The summer months are hot and fairly crowded, spring is moderate crowds with spring break vacations, Easter is very crowded as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years.  I love to visit in the spring and fall months for crowds and weather.

Now its time to see where the best package is for your stay.  Check the Disney vacation guide page on the Disney website, www.disneyworld.com and plan out your trip.  This is a great guide that allows you to tweak your decisions to remain within your budget but still get the things you want.  I strongly recommend you stay in a Disney resort.  Please read about the "Buy 4 Get 3 Free" package that is taking place.  You might also want to check with your local AAA (American Automobile Association) and airlines for their package prices.

The following are Disney numbers to call to inquire about reservations and availability.
    407- W-DISNEY (407-934-7639)
    Resort packages: 407-939-7675
The cast members will be more then happy to help you secure the reservation that is best for you!

Now that those two important things are done you can start the planning for the dining and recreation while you are there....all the fun stuff!
