We are only in DW one day. Visiting the Animal Kingdom. We are not staying at the resort. What do you recommend we make reservations for? There is 5 of us. 3 adults 2 under 18. One of the adults is elderly.

    Hi Janet,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family has made really special memories on our multigenerational trips to Walt Disney World, and I'm so glad you sent your question my way.

You can make three FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance of your visit date, and I recommend doing that as soon as possible. For your crew, I recommend a ride through the savanna on Kilimanjaro Safaris and Festival of the Lion King, a beautiful show featuring music and characters from the beloved movie. Na'vi River Journey, a peaceful boat ride that celebrates Pandora's otherworldly beauty, is one of my favorite attractions.

I'm not sure if your Mouseketeers are kiddos or teens, so I recommend taking a look at the attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom. My tween could ride thrill rides like Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain and Kali River Rapids over and over again, while my parents might use that time to see Finding Nemo - The Musical or enjoy a snack and a walk through Maharajah Jungle Trek.

My family loves dining with Donald Duck and friends in their safari gear at Tusker House Restaurant, which is a delicious buffet of African and Indian offerings and American favorites. Another favorite is Yak & Yeti Restaurant, with its gorgeous theming and famous noodle dishes.

Please come back and see us if we can help as you count down the days. Enjoy your together time!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
