We're going to DW Oct. 9th-15th.We are bringing out almost 2 year old daughter. Is the MIckey's not so scary halloween party at magic kingdom something i should bring her to? Also we have hopper passes, would I need to purchase the extra event ticket?

Welcome to the Moms Panel Megan!

Your trip is so super close!! Are you too excited to sleep yet?

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is one of my favorite events at the Magic Kingdom! The theme of this event is "not-so-scary" so its great for all ages!   If your daughter is frightened by loud noises, the fireworks & Villains Dance Mix & Mingle may frighten her a little but if not, she should be fine with everything.

MNSSHP is held on select evenings from 7 p.m. until midnight.  It does require a special event ticket so you would need to purchase a ticket for admission - kids under the age of 3 years old are free.

I think your daughter would have fun & its free for her, but since the event doesn't begin until 7 p.m. I'd think about how late she would be able to stay up.  If she is usually in bed early & would have a meltdown if kept up later, it may not be worth it to purchase your ticket if you think you'd only get to stay an hour of so.  If she can stay up, it is an awesome event & I enjoy even when my kids aren't with me.

If you do decide to go, I'd recommend a low key day with a long nap before you head to the Magic Kingdom.
